Little Learners - Mercedes

We were delighted to be invited to redesign the Little Learners driving room at Mercedes Benz World.

The project saw us create both wall art and a new 3D logo for the experience.

For the wall art, we built a complete city, packed with content that showcased renewable energy and Mercedes’ electric car fleet. THis then covered the entire 35m x 5m wall space, creating a fully emmersive kids area within the Mercedes Museum.

Keeping the playful feel, we then produced an updated 3D logo design, which was used thorughout and completed the visual identiy for the area.

Corporate Financier - clay figure

Tremenos anamorphic illustration

We love new challenges, and Spiro didn’t disappoint, with their brief for a large format CGI anamorphic image, stretching across the floor, to produce a mind-bending optical trick from a perfect viewpoint.

Applying an anamorphic effect to a realistic CGI scene called for a highly accurate technical solution.

Through deep diving into lens data and some in-house expertise in maths and physics, we developed a brilliantly precise virtual camera rig that, not only outputs the exact distortion required, but can do this as high render sizes and control the precise viewing position and eye level.

It remains one of our most satisfying solutions and gives us the means to create further large scale anamorphic works with remarkable accuracy.

Samsung - flow

Working across both print and animation, we brought Samsung’s ‘oasis’ concept to life, making fluid, glass-like forms glide and twist their way through a variety of scenes.

This head shot was the central shot for the project, from which the flowing Oasis was developed into its finished state.

Renewi

A large project, making playful globe scenes for global recycling company Renewi. Running as both animations and static scenes, we created four of globes, each illustrating a key aspect of Renewi’s business, along with a variety of detail images.

With Mercedes winning another consecutive world championship, we were commissioned to create a large format F1 image to be displayed in the Mercedes Benz-World museum.

With the image needing to reflect many years of Mercedes' success, both past and future, the car , driver and scene capture the teams efforts, rather than any one driver, car model or track.
